The 2012/13 season sees the Mens Division 3 team introduce new Head Coach Matt Hatchell. Taking the torch from father George Hatchell who has steered the team for the past 14 years, this year also sees the end of a ‘golden’ generation of players. There promises to be many changes , but with key players returning Coach Hatchell will be looking to get off to a flying start.
The Under 18’s have made the step up to National Premier League where they will be facing the best competition in the country week in, week out.
After what can only be considered as a successful season last year, the Under 16’s again participate in the Premier league, where the south have over two thirds of the England Squad playing their club basketball.
Plymouth Marjon Football Club is one of the newest members of the Plymouth Marjon Sports Club. The club benefits from some of the best facilities and pitches in Plymouth and have worked very hard over a short space of time in order to provide enhanced football opportunities to both students and members of the wider community, and are currently building an infrastructure that will advocate a player-centred approach to football development and training for players of all ages, genders and abilities.
Plymouth Marjon HC is the largest and most successful hockey club in Plymouth running teams from U9s through to Veterans, in total over 25 teams. With over 300 members the club is also part of the Plymouth Marjon Sports Club based at UCP Marjon. The club which will be entering into its 12th season will be pleased to be using a new pitch and hosting teams in the 'Grandstand Cafe & Bar' which will be run by the Plymouth Marjon Sports Club from September 2012.
Plymouth Marjon Netball Club was formed in August 2007.
The Club has four senior ladies teams and five junior teams, catering for all ages and abilities from Hi 5s (primary children) through to adults. All teams play in the local Plymouth & District Netball League at both senior and junior level.
The club currently has a squad in the NSW Premier Regional League 2.
Plymouth Marjon are an England Netball Gold CAPS accredited club and also hold the Sports England Clubmark.
PMRFC is the newest of the Plymouth Marjon clubs which started in November 2012 with the development of a junior U11s section on a Sunday morning. Since its first session the club has grown fielding an U11 and U8 boys and girls teams. The club is developing fast with the prospect of some excellent new facilities to train and play. From September 2013 the club will also launch a new senior section.
Plymouth Marjon Cricket Club is set to start in March with the introduction on a new junior U11 development programme at UCP Marjon. Starting on Sunday 3rd February session will run from 9-11am in the sports hall costing £4.
